Since Monday, the Seix hospital for dependent elderly people (EHPAD) has been going through new difficult times, following the occurrence of new presumed cases of Covid-19. “For the moment explains the director of the Paul-Ané residence, we have only carried out antigenic tests, some of which have come back positive”. In the meantime, a massive screening of residents and staff, which will take place today with the he use of PCR tests, the establishment had to temporarily close its doors to families. “We have taken the first steps and if necessary we will set up a protocol in the coming days depending on the results”. In the meantime, all the families have been notified and the links have not been completely broken. For the past few weeks, the EHPAD has had a digital solution allowing residents to maintain contact with their loved ones.
