Canopee at Bremen
The European Space Agency explains that “ the main stage and the upper stage were loaded into the hybrid sailboat Canopée built in the ports of Bremen (Germany) and Le Havre (France) ».
« The arrival of Canopée at the port of Pariacabo in Kourou, French Guiana, is scheduled for the end of February. From there, the two stages will be transported by truck the last few kilometers to the European spaceport », adds the ESA.
The two stages will be assembled horizontally then transported to the launch area and placed vertically for liftoff. The first takeoff is planned for the summer of 2024… hoping that no delay will disrupt the plans.
