Ari Wibowo and Inge Anugrah’s divorce process is still ongoing, Mother. Some time ago, the issue of treasures and so on became a hot topic that kept rolling.
It is known that Inge Anugrah demanded joint property in the divorce trial filed by Ari. However, this is actually difficult to realize because the two of them signed a prenuptial agreement in 2006.
In the prenuptial agreement, Ari Wibowo and Inge Anugrah agreed to separate their assets. During the marriage, all assets are in Ari’s name. Therefore, Inge Anugrah did not have a penny of property during her marriage to Ari Wibowo.
Even though Inge Anugrah tried to fight for the treasures, Ari Wibowo refused to discuss the distribution of the assets. “The separation of assets was made and agreed upon by the parties in May 2006, before the marriage took place. Both parties agreed and understood the consequences of the marriage agreement,” said Ricky Saragih, Ari Wibowo’s attorney.
“The marriage agreement is the legal basis for saying that there is no division of assets in this divorce case,” he continued.
Ricky Saragih added that with the existence of a prenuptial agreement, neither party was harmed. Because with this agreement also, the goods purchased and the assets obtained by each party will be written in each other’s name.
“The assets obtained in the marriage are assets that are regulated as the agreement itself. So it will be seen later whose name the property is in, if it is written in Ari’s name, yes it belongs to Ari, if it is Inge’s name, then it belongs to Inge,” he explained .
Furthermore, he also added that not all assets during the marriage were in the name of Ari Wibowo. Apparently, there are several assets in the name of Inge Anugrah.
“Still, and until now there are assets in Inge’s name,” said Ricky Saragih.
