River Plate strengthened its position at the top of the Argentine Premier League, after defeating Inistutu 3/1 in the twenty-first stage of the competition.
Godoy Cruz scored a big victory against Boca Juniors and defeated it 4-0, and Tigre beat Velez Sarsfield 2-1, while Racing Club tied with Paracas Central 1-1.
Anistutu took the lead with a goal in the first seconds scored by Santiago Rodriguez, then River Plate settled the match in his favor with three goals scored by Nicholas de la Cruz, Ignacio Fernandez and Lucas Paltran in the 34th, 50th and 84th minutes.
River Plate’s balance rose to 50 points in the lead, 12 points ahead of its closest competitor, Talleres Cordoba, who finished in second place, while Anistutoto’s balance froze at 22 points in twenty-first place.
Godoy Cruz defeated Boca Juniors with four goals, scored by Diego Rodriguez, Hernan Lopez, Tadeo Allende and Thomas Conchni, in the 17th minutes of a penalty kick, 39, 59 and 65.
Godoy Cruz raised his score to 32 points in eighth place, while Boca Juniors’ balance froze at 28 points in eleventh place.
Tigre also defeated Velez Sarsfield 2/1, raising the first to 25 points in the seventeenth place, and Sarsfield’s balance frozen at 18 points in the twenty-fifth place.
The goals of Tigre, Aaron Molinas, and Miguel Brizuela, the Sarsfield player, scored “accidentally in his own goal” in the 62nd and 88th minutes, while Elias Kabera scored the goal of Velez Sarsfield in the 64th minute.
Paracas Central escaped defeat against Racing Club and tied 1/1, bringing the first to 24 points in nineteenth place, compared to 27 points for Racing Club in thirteenth place.
Racing Club advanced with a goal scored by Anibal Moreno in the 21st minute, but Francisco Alvarez snatched the equalizer for Barracas Central in the 85th minute, despite the numerical shortage in the team’s ranks following the expulsion of Nicolas Capraro in the 72nd minute.
