The team led by Pablo Prigioni is back in Argentina. With a balance of three victories (94 to 88 once morest Catalonia, 66 to 65 once morest Venezuela and 101 to 87 once morest the Czech Republic) and one defeat (85 to 84 once morest Belgium), the Senior Team completed the first part of its preparation for the FIBA Olympic Prequalifier.
After three weeks in Europe that included training at the Camilo Cano Sports City in La Nucía, the team will now face the last days of the set-up to face the first challenge on the road to Paris 2024 in the best possible way.
The delegation arrived in Buenos Aires on Monday the 7th in the morning and will have a day off to then train on Tuesday the 8th at Obras Sanitarias (behind closed doors and without attention to the press). That same day, in the followingnoon, he will travel to Santiago del Estero.

THE TOURNAMENT
The first two of each group will qualify for the semifinals. Then, the winner of this Olympic Prequalifier will get a ticket to one of the four FIBA Olympic Qualifiers to be held from July 2 to 7, 2024.
Next year’s Olympic Qualifier will be held in four venue zones of six teams each, awarding the winner of each one a ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
