Argentina make short work of Italy and win a one-sided Finalissima

While all eyes are on Roland-Garros, a “new” football competition took place this Wednesday evening, the Final. Finally, new, not quite since it was the 3rd edition, but the 1st since 1993.

Opposing the recent European champion, italyto the last winner of the Copa America, argentina, the competition gave birth to a…mouse for its big comeback. The fault of one Albiceleste far too strong which left no chance for a frankly unrecognizable Squadra Azzurra (0-3).

Put on velvet by Leo Messi, Lautaro Martinez was responsible for uncapping the match just before half an hour, putting Argentina in charge of a meeting that it obviously had no intention of letting go. Scorer, the Interist then turned into a passer to launch Angel Di Mariaauthor of the second banderilla in stoppage time of the 1st half.

Mounted at the end of the match, Paulo Dybala took on the task of dealing the last blow to Italians who were incapable of revolting. The score could have been even a little heavier without a big Gianluigi Donarrumma.

Note in passing that the indestructible Giorgio Chiellini was playing his very last minutes with the Italian national team. After a half-time placed under the sign of farewells (missed), he finally gave up his place.
