Argentina Defeat New Zealand, Australia and South Africa in the Same Year

Before Saturday, only two teams had defeated New Zealand, Australia and South Africa in the same year. Los Pumas of 2024 joined Ireland of 2016 & 2022 and England of 2002 & 2003 as teams who have defeated the All Blacks, Wallabies, and Springboks in the same year.

Argentina’s three wins over New Zealand, Australia and South Africa in 2024 were in the Rugby Championship. Ireland’s 2022 and 2016 wins were both a mixture of July and November Internationals. England’s 2022 wins were all at home in November while the 2023 wins were a mixture or a June tour and October-November matches at the World Cup in Australia.
