The Argentine National Team defeated Panama 2-0, premiering in their country the title obtained at the Qatar 2022 World Cup last December.

The evening became a complete party with a game as one more incentive, an excuse to enjoy alongside the figures of the historic Lionel Scaloni squad with an exceptional setting at the Monumental.

The process was a pleasure from start to finish, where the public was able to unleash their emotion together with their idols while the team on the court gave away tickets of their best movements in Qatar. The only guest missing from the celebration was the goal.

Messi seriously warned from the start with a free kick in the left corner by José Guerra and Rodrigo De Paul was attentive and dangerous to pull the strings from the middle.

A deep pass from him to Alexis Mac Alister was anticipated by the goalkeeper when he licked his lips. Later, Messi had it with a high shot and Enzo Fernández demanded Guerra.

We had to wait until 77′ for a new free kick from Messi to open the way: a shot to the right angle for Leandro Paredes to try to run over from the left after the rebound, until Thiago Almada defined to celebrate his first goal with the Albiceleste jersey and vent to the Argentine crowd.

But the unforgettable night was missing something. Another free kick from Messi, at 43 minutes, ended up in Guerra’s left corner: this time, inside the arc.

Then the party was complete with a deafening clamor and a massive hug between the protagonists. An ending at the height of so much joy.
