“Argentina 1985″ won the Goya award for best Ibero-American film

The film ‘Argentina, 1985’ won the 2023 Goya Award for the best Ibero-American film. The feature film directed by director Santiago Miter surpassed ‘1976’ (Chile), by Manuela Martelli; ‘The pack’ (Colombia), by Andrés Ramírez Pulido; ‘Night of Fire’ (Mexico), by Tatiana Huezo; and ‘Utama’ (Bolivia), by Alejandro Loayza Grisi.

“We have seen how such an Argentine story, seen by different audiences, who go through such particular situations and are so different at the same time and are so similar, are those same wounds that unite us all,” said the actor Peter Lanzani. In this sense, he added that this is “the only way to fight once morest it is with justice.” Darín and Miter were not at the gala as they continue to promote the film in Hollywood.

It should be remembered that the film has been stomping at every festival that is presented. Since its premiere at the Venice Festival, the film has won awards: it won the Audience Award at the San Sebastian Festival, triumphed as Best Foreign Language Film at the Golden Globes and has been nominated for the international category at the BAFTAs and to the oscars
