After they reach the age of forty, women need constant attention to health, as many changes may occur to them, and in order to confront these changes, some important vitamins must be used.

In this article, we will mention a list of vitamins that should be taken following turning forty, including:

1- Vitamin B12, found in meat, fish, and milk.

2- Vitamin D. The daily requirement of vitamin D for women over the age of 40 is 15 micrograms, and it is found in mushrooms, orange juice, oats, and fish liver oil.

3- Calcium, which is found in dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, peas and dried beans.

4- Potassium, which is found in bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, apricots, grapefruit, cooked cauliflower and sweet potatoes.
