Learn how to automate messages on different social networks so you can enjoy your holiday without being disturbed

The automatic messaging tool is very useful for those who use social networks for work. With this feature, you can speed up the service by configuring an automatic response to frequently asked questions and save time.

But, in addition, this tool proves to be very effective for when you are enjoying the carnival and don’t want to be bothered with work, automatically replying to anyone who sends you a message during a certain period of time.

WhatsApp Business

  1. When opening the application, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Go to the Business Tools tab.
  3. Click Quick Answers and then the + button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. In the Shortcut field write the keyword that will activate the automatic message with a slash (/) in front of the text.
  5. Just below, in the Reply message field, type the message that will be sent automatically.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Join a conversation and reply to a message by clicking / and selecting one of the saved reply options to send to the contact.

Microsoft Teams

  1. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click on your profile picture.
  2. Then select Settings and then General.
  3. Go to the Out of Office tab and select the Schedule button.
  4. Turn on Enable Automatic Replies.
  5. Type your message in the text box.
  6. If you want the message to be sent to people outside your company, select the Send replies outside my organization button.
  7. Then select the time period for the automated message and click Save.

Instagram

  1. In the upper right corner of the screen, click on the three horizontal bars.
  2. Then click on Settings.
  3. Select the Content Creator or Company tab.
  4. Then go to FAQ.
  5. Turn on Show Questions and click Add Question.
  6. In the Question field, type a question someone might ask to start a chat with your profile.
  7. Just below, in Automatic response, write a response message that will be sent automatically when the question written in the field above is sent by a user.
  8. Click the check button at the top of the screen to save.

Facebook

  1. Access the application’s business tool, Meta Business Suite.
  2. From the menu on the left side of the screen, select Inbox and click Automations.
  3. Click the Instant Reply tab and enable the option.
  4. Select the Messenger button.
  5. Enter the message that will automatically be sent when someone starts a chat and click Save Changes.

Gmail

  1. Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  2. Go to See all settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and look for the Vacation Autoresponder option.
  4. Select the Vacation Auto Reply option turned on.
  5. Add the start date and end date for sending autoresponders under First Day and Last Day.
  6. In Subject and Message, write what will be triggered to contacts who send an email during the specified period.
  7. Click Save Changes.

Outlook

  1. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the gear icon.
  2. At the bottom of the menu, click View All Outlook Settings.
  3. Go to the Email tab and then click on Automatic Replies.
  4. Turn on Enable Automatic Replies.
  5. If you want automated messages to be sent during a certain period, select the Send replies only during a period of time box and choose the Start time and End time.
  6. Write the automated message and click Save.
