Size, design and weight: what are the differences?
Whatever your favorite model, you will be sure to hold in your hands a model with a refined design. Honor smartphones are indeed all very elegant, starting with the Honor 70 Lite which sports its block of sensors, in the back, at the top right in a square format. Small change with the Honor 70 which offers two circles to integrate the photo lenses. Opposite, we find the recognizable design of the Magic series for the Magic5 Lite and Magic5 Pro. Finally, the Magic Vs benefits from an exceptional design with its foldable format.
In terms of dimensions and weight, the Magic Vs weighs 267 grams and offers a height of 160.3 mm against 219 grams for the Magic5 Pro and 162.9 mm high. The Honor 70 Lite weighs 194 grams compared to 178 grams for the Honor 70 and 175 grams for the Magic5 Lite. It is the latter which is the thinnest of all with a profile of 7.9 mm against 8.77 mm for the Magic5 Pro. Fully open, the Magic Vs is 6.1mm while when fully closed, it is 12.9mm.
Which screen for Honor smartphones?
Since the Magic Vs is a foldable smartphone, it sports two screens. One is an external 6.45-inch AMOLED 120Hz with 1200 cd/m² brightness and a curved side while the other is an internal, folding 7.9-inch AMOLED 90Hz. Both are HDR10+ compatible. The Magic5 Pro offers a stunning 6.81-inch screen with 4 curved sides and a refresh rate that can vary between 1 and 120 Hz, depending on the application in use. It is HDR10+ compatible.
The Honor 70 and Magic5 Lite screens have the same characteristics, i.e. a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with curved edges on both sides, HDR10 compatible and having a maximum frequency of 120 Hz with a definition of 1080×2400 pixels. The screen of the Honor 70 Lite is 6.5 inches on an LCD panel, with a definition of 720×1600 pixels and a frequency of 90 Hz.

What about the performances?
The Magic5 Pro is the most powerful of them all with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the fastest chip around. It is associated with 12 GB of RAM. As for the Magic Vs, but with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc. The Honor 70 then arrives with its Snapdragon 778G+ processor with 8 GB of expandable RAM, then the Magic5 Lite with a Snapdragon 695 and finally the Honor 70 Lite with a Snapdragon 480+ with 4 GB of RAM, not to mention the possibility of adding an additional 3 GB virtual.
In terms of autonomy, the Magic5 Pro and Magic5 Lite have a battery with a capacity of 5100 mAh against 5000 mAh for the Magic Vs and Honor 70 Lite. The Honor 70 offers a capacity of 4800 mAh. The Magic5 Pro, Magic Vs and Honor 70 support charging at 66 watts compared to 40 watts for the Magic5 Lite and 22.5 watts for the Honor 70 Lite. Only the Magic5 Pro can be charged wirelessly and offers reverse charging.
What photo configurations?
As far as photos are concerned, the Magic5 Pro is positioned as one of the best photophones of the moment with its 50+50+50 megapixel configuration with 3.5x optical zoom and two optically stabilized sensors. The Magic Vs offers a 54 + 50 + 8 megapixel block with 3x optical zoom, almost the same lenses as the Honor 70 which is equipped with a 54 + 50 + 2 megapixel block, the last module being for photos in macro mode.
The Magic5 Lite has 64+5+2 megapixels on the back while the Honor 70 Lite has 50+2+2 megapixels on the back. The Honor 70 has a 32 megapixel lens for selfies while the Magic5 Lite and Magic Vs offer a 16 megapixel module against 12 megapixels on the front of the Magic5 Pro and 8 megapixels on the front of the Honor 70 Lite.
