What happens between now and July 1:
You are a solution provider currently engaged in the ETAPES experimentation
The social security financing law for 2023 provides that trial suppliers engaged in ETAPES continue to benefit from the financial support provided for under the trial, subject to the transmission to the Minister of Health and to the High Authority for Health of a commitment to submit an application for registration of these products or services (this commitment had to be submitted before January 31, 2023).
This transitional support ends no later than June 30, 2023.
- 1st case: I agree to register in the common right of telesurveillance
I sent a letter of commitment to the competent ministers, copy to the high health authority (HAS) and to the Digital Health Agency (ANS) before January 31, 2023.
I benefit from continuity of care for patients already telemonitored and for the new patients until June 30, 2023.
In order to be registered on the list of medical remote monitoring activities before June 30, 2023:
- I submit a request for evaluation the compliance of my solution (my digital medical device) with the ANS interoperability and safety standards and compliance with the technical specifications of the generic line to which I wish to attach my Digital Medical Device (DMN) as soon as the decrees are published relating to remote monitoring activities before March 31, 2023.
- I submit a registration request from the Minister of Health in order to obtain the individual code allowing me to be attached to a generic line. I would need the certificates of conformity to obtain this code.
- 2nd case: I do not engage in the common right of telesurveillance
I have not undertaken to submit an application for registration of my device in the common right of telesurveillance:
- For patients with a prescription with my solution dating from before January 31:
In order to avoid any break in care for telemonitored patients, care may be maintained until the operator ensures the transition to an alternative solution, and at the latest until June 30, 2023.
To this end, the list of remote monitoring solutions used is posted on the website of the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
- New patients included since February 1 will not be able to benefit from coverage of the operator flat rate by the ETAPES program.
- I must notify all remote monitoring operators who use my device so that they are able to move towards an alternative solution on the list of available solutions so that the patient can continue to benefit from care through ETAPES until June 30, 2023.
The list of solutions is available:
