Arcom once once more responded to the call of Ministry of Solidarity and Health. The Authority ensures the relay of information between the Ministry of Health and televisions and radios on the National Tobacco Control Program (PNLT) 2018-2022.
For this eighth edition of the Tobacco Free Month operation, Arcom mobilized and encouraged the channels to:
stream out spots from the Public Health campaignoffer specific editorial treatment and dedicated programs, organize internal events around the subject, suggest that presenters wear the “Tobacco-Free Month” badge.
No tobacco on the air
Arcom ensures compliance, in programs broadcast on television and radio, with the global ban on and propaganda in favor of tobacco products (EVIN law of January 10, 1991) and vaping products (electronic cigarette and its components, refill bottles). The Authority, through its deliberation of June 17, 2008does not tolerate no reference to tobacco in the screens of television and radio service publishers. It is also prohibited to smoke on set shows or in a studio.
Finally, every year, Arcom mobilizes and raises awareness among its teams, in Paris and within its 16 territorial delegations, regarding the fight once morest smoking and organizes personalized consultations with tobaccologues.
