There is nothing less than a sensation to report from Vienna’s Votive Park: An archaeological team uncovered a previously unknown, ancient church behind a Samsung scaffold. The building is dated to the mid 19th century.
VIENNA – The whole of Vienna knows and loves the gigantic scaffolding that has been beautifying the Votive Park on Vienna’s Ringstrasse for decades. But no one might have guessed that a ruin was hiding behind the magnificent Samsung Galaxy and Audi Q7 product photos. “Where did it go?” wonders Raimund Steinbacher, leader of a Chinese tour group who came especially to see the world-famous scaffolding.
