The airline of Dominican origin Arajet made its first demonstration trip to Barranquilla, Colombia this Friday.

During the launch event, the company had estimated that its operations would start in this month of May. The airline will have a fleet of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Two months ago, it ordered the acquisition of 20 units, specifically the high-capacity 737-8-200 model. It also said in a press release that it has options to buy an additional 15 737 Max jets that, along with existing lease agreements, could bring the airline’s new fuel-efficient fleet to the United States. 40 planes.
