Arab leaders broke barriers and signed the Abrahamic peace agreements

Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo confirmed in an interview with Yalla TV that Washington supported the Abrahamic peace agreements, and that “without leaders who support peace, it would not have been possible to continue on this path.”

Pompeo said that those Arab leaders who signed the Abrahamic peace agreements with Israel “were willing to break down barriers and take risks for what they thought would be good for their countries’ long-term future.”

Pompeo stated that “America has taken several steps to instill confidence, including getting rid of Qassem Soleimani, in preparation for the signing of peace agreements between Israel, the UAE and Sudan.”

He pointed out that “Washington dealt with the concerns of each party separately” to confirm confidence in the agreements.

He said that the importance of these agreements “is not only limited to security and diplomacy, but has affected the lives of ordinary people who are able to move, study and trade in different countries.”

He stressed that “historical enmities between peoples and states are no longer logical.”

Pompeo highlighted the importance of the idea of ”coexistence and tolerance between cultures and religions,” explaining that it also “makes the economy thrive, and people live a better life.”

Pompeo explained that America is trying to help the countries of the region to change and open up, and when it sent military forces, it was with the aim of “liberating the peoples of the region from tyrants.”

Asked regarding his weight loss, Pompeo said there are no secrets, just less food and more exercise.

Regarding his social life, he mentioned that his son will marry a wonderful girl next July.
