The match between Egypt and Morocco will start at nine o’clock this evening in the quarter-finals of the Arab Junior Cup, which will be held in the Algerian city of Oran.
Egypt’s national under-17 team qualified for the quarter-finals after topping Group D with 9 points, while Morocco finished runners-up in Group C with 6 points.
It is scheduled to meet the winner of the match between Egypt and Morocco with Yemen in the semi-finals of the Arab Junior Cup.

The match began with a great advantage from the Egyptian side, which dominated the events of the meeting, and more than one attacking attempt was made in front of the Moroccan goal, but it did not end in the best way.
The two teams did not manage to find the net throughout the first half, so the first 45 minutes ended in a goalless draw between Egypt and Morocco.
At the beginning of the second half, Egypt almost scored a goal through Omar Sayed Moawad in the 50th minute, after a wonderful shot inside the penalty area, but it did not go into Morocco’s net.
In the 56th minute, Omar Sayed Moawad hit a powerful ball from outside the penalty area, but it went next to the post.
The Egyptian team continued to waste opportunities in front of the goal and demanded its players to obtain a penalty kick in the 76th minute after a handball on the Moroccan defender inside the penalty area, but the referee did not consider it.
Contrary to the course of the match, Morocco managed to snatch the lead in the 81st minute, to advance the Atlas Lions 1-0 against Egypt.
