A group of Arab countries has decided to jointly organize “Arab Week” with the United Nations agency UNESCO, which will be held on November 4 and 5, 2024. This is the first time that Arab countries are organizing such a big event together with UNESCO. This event will be held in Paris, capital of France.
On this occasion, all the Arab countries will show a rich display of Arab culture and heritage. This event will help promote cultural dialogue and achieve development goals.
The event will celebrate Arab literature, arts, and cultural heritage, as well as dialogue between different cultures.
It was launched by Saudi Arabia’s National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science with the aim of promoting Arab culture globally. This initiative has the full support of all Arab Ministers of Culture.
Arab Week will also feature various cultural and arts exhibitions such as an exhibition of Arabic calligraphy, a heritage photo fair, Arab music, an Arabic cuisine festival, and hand-woven crafts and clothing.
This event will bring different aspects of Arab culture to the world and strengthen the cultural identity in collaboration with UNESCO and its member countries.
Thus, “Arab Week” will be a golden opportunity to raise awareness about Arab culture and celebrate its heritage at the global level.
