“Arab Beach Soccer Championship 2023: Referees Committee Assigns UAE’s Ibrahim Al Mansouri as Chair”

JEDDAH, 11th May / WAM / The Referees Committee of the Arab Football Association assigned Ibrahim Al Mansouri, a member of the Beach Soccer Referees Committee in the UAE Football Association, to chair the Referees Committee of the Arab Beach Soccer Championship, which will be held in Saudi Arabia from 11 to 20 May.
The Saudi city of Jeddah will host the activities of the fourth edition of the championship, which is organized by the Arab Football Association in cooperation with its Saudi counterpart, with the participation of 12 Arab teams, including the UAE national team.
The Referees Committee of the Arab Federation chose Emirati referee Nawaf Ahmed Hassan among the list of tournament referees, which includes 19 referees from various Arab countries.
The Organizing Committee held its first meeting yesterday, before the start of the tournament competitions, during which the tournament regulations were approved, the eligibility of players and referees approved, and the preparations of all committees were reviewed before the start of the tournament competitions.
The UAE national team will play its first match in the tournament next “Saturday”, facing its Libyan counterpart, at nine thirty in the evening UAE time, in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, in the third group competitions that also includes the teams of Kuwait and the Comoros.
