Arab artists support Mervat Amin and denounce the bullying campaign against her image

The number of artists supporting the Egyptian artist Mervat Amin is increasing, days following she was bullied because of the circulation of her image in the condolences of director Ali Abdel Khaleq.
Bullies on social networking sites showed Mervat Amin’s picture in the funeral, along with her picture when she was a young woman, negatively commenting on the wrinkles and aging visible on her features.
On Saturday evening, the Syrian artist, Raghda, published a picture of her on her official Facebook page, showing closely the effects of aging on her face.
And Raghda wrote, “Yes, we grew up, but we are not horses. Yes, we grew up as you will one day, but we did not and will not be permitted to torture the executioners.
“We cherish our femininity, and we are grateful to her for what she endured beyond her capacity through a long and arduous journey,” she added.
The Syrian artist, Solaf Fawakherji, posted on Instagram a picture of Mervat Amin from the youth stage, attached to it with a comment that said, “Beauty is a value that the enemies of beauty, the valueless, and the dehumanizing do not realize.”
She added, “Our features change, like the state of the world, but our sincere hearts do not change and do not change, because they are from the spirit of God and love is a blessing from Him, Glory be to Him.
And the star Fawakherji concluded by saying, “Mervat Amin Jamal has no limits.”
Immediately following the launch of the bullying campaign once morest the Egyptian artist, the artist, Tarek Lotfi, posted on his personal Facebook page, a picture of her in her youth, and wrote above it the saying, “She will remain the girl of my dreams.”
