A total of 82 people died in road accidents last April, according to the record shared in a report by the Road Safety Observatory (ETC). Of the number, eight were minors.
The organization, which applies its data according to reports from regional and digital media, reported that little More than half, 44, were men riding a motorcycle.. 10 were motorcycle passengers, five were vehicle drivers, four were pedestrians and one was listed as a passenger in a vehicle.
In the case of women, the total was 10 fatal victims.Three of them were run over, two were riding motorcycles, two others were passengers of the same type of transport and three died in accidents in private vehicles.
In the case of minors who died in accidents, the OSV detailed that four were run over, two were aboard private vehicles, while two others were traveling as passengers on a motorcycle.
In the fourth month of the year, the total of Accidents recorded by the group were 340.
The authorities are urging people to avoid driving at high speed, as well as to respect traffic lights and other traffic signs. They are also asking for the proper use of seat belts and helmets, depending on the vehicle being used.
