Apprenticeship as a painter in Ternitz: The first apprentice came in 1974

The company in Ternitz, founded by master painter Felix Spicker on July 23, 1973, took on its first apprentice in 1974.

TERNITZ. To date, a total of 48 apprentices have been trained as painters and coating technicians. With the takeover of the company by master painter Peter Spicker in 1999, the company was continuously expanded and expanded with the apprentices who had been trained in-house.

Increase to 21 employees

With the entry of the third generation into the company – master painter Constantin Spicker came in 2014 – the company was able to increase to an average of 21 employees. In the meantime, an average of two to three apprentices are being trained at the Spicker company in Ternitz. “The greatest success was the sending of one of our apprentices to the state apprenticeship competition,” remembers Peter Spicker, who also says: “There is currently an apprenticeship vacancy and we are looking for an apprentice.”
