President-elect Yoon, Ho-Young Jeong hearing report requested to be resent by the day following tomorrow (9th)
It appears that President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol will push ahead with the appointment of Chung Ho-young as Minister of Health and Welfare. This is a request to the National Assembly once more to send a hearing report that the opposition and opposition parties, including Candidate Jeong, failed to adopt by the day following tomorrow (9th). An official from the Ministry of Health and Welfare also told our reporters, “I know that I will be appointed between the 10th and 12th, and I am preparing.”

The hearing was canceled and the People’s Power also requested the withdrawal of the nomination, but it is expected that the elected Yoon Seok-yeol will force the appointment.
He once more requested the National Assembly to issue a hearing report by the day following the presidential inauguration.
The same is true for Candidates Won Hee-ryong, Lee Sang-min, Park Jin, Park Bo-kyun, and Lee Jong-seop, whose report was also not adopted.
So far, only four of the 19 candidates that the opposition and opposition parties have agreed on have been Choo Kyung-ho, Lee Jung-sik, Lee Jong-ho, and Han Hwa-jin.
Since there is virtually no possibility of further adoption of the report through an agreement between the ruling and opposition parties, all that remains is to force the appointment.
A high-ranking official from the Ministry of Health and Welfare also told JTBC, “I know that a candidate will be appointed between the 10th and 12th, the presidential inauguration day, and we are preparing.”
Candidate Jeong, who went down to Daegu, plans to return to the hearing preparation team on Monday to receive a report on pending issues.
Park Min-soo, head of the keynote office of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, who led the hearing preparation team by presenting regarding 60 cases of explanatory materials for the candidate, was appointed as secretary to the president’s office by Yoon Seok-yeol yesterday.
There are many negative opinions regarding the appointment of President-elect Yoon, even within the people’s power ahead of the local elections.
In an opinion poll conducted following the hearing, it was also found that more than twice as many responses as ‘inappropriate’ to Chung’s nomination were more than adequate.
