Appointment of a new CEO of Christian Dior and a new president of Louis Vuitton

The “LVMH” group announced in a statement on Wednesday that Delphine Arnault, daughter of French billionaire Bernard Arnault, has been appointed CEO of the “Christian Dior” fashion house, while Pietro Beccari, who was in this position, was assigned the presidency of the “Louis Vuitton” luxury goods house.

In the details, Delphine Arnault, 47, was until today Deputy General Manager of “Louis Vuitton” and since 2013 she supervised all production activities in the brand, following working for “Christian Dior” for 12 years.

Arnaud’s five children work for the LVMH group. In December, the eldest son, Antoine, was appointed general manager of the Christian Dior SA holding company and vice-chairman of its board of directors. He is also General Manager of Berluti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Loro Piana, and Director of Promotion and Environment at LVMH.

As for Alexandre Arnault, he is Executive Vice President of “Tiffany”, which specializes in jewelry, while Frédéric is the CEO of “Tag Heuer”, and Jean is responsible for managing the marketing and development of watches designed by the “Louis Vuitton” brand.

On the appointment of Pietro Bicari as President of Louis Vuitton, Bernard Arnault praised Bicari’s “extraordinary work over the past five years” at Dior, saying that he “will bring more successes to Louis Vuitton.”
