How to apply for an H-2B visa?
- The US employer must first file a petition on your behalf, this is listed as an entity supplement.
- If you are interested, you must have a valid passport and sponsorship from a company in the North American country. That is, the company must manage the employment certification request.
- The employer must demonstrate that there are not enough U.S. workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available to do the temporary work.
- Employing H-2A workers will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of similarly employed Americans.
- As with the H-A2 visa, the worker may stay for a maximum of 3 years, in accordance with the US Government.
