You have a project or carry out actions with the aim, among other things, of encouraging the orientation of young girls towards scientific and technical courses! So do not hesitate any longer and submit your application for the Ingénieuses’23 competition of the CDEFI (Conference of directors of French engineering schools). Closing of applications on March 8, 2023.
Techniques de l’ingénieur supports the eighth edition of the CDEFI Ingénieuses competition organized as part of the Ingénieuses operation. This will be released in two stages:
First, the launch of a national communication campaign advocating the development of mixed engineering professions. Several actions are implemented, for example, on January 20, 2023, the operation participates in the seminar of the Association for women leaders of higher education in order to bring them more visibility. And to give them the floor, on the climate issues which are the theme chosen for this event.
Second, the contest. This challenge calls on two categories of participants, with on the one hand the projects presented by the schools, and on the other, the most remarkable career paths of female students and engineers.. At the end of this competition, among these courses and projects, the most exemplary will be rewarded.
Moreover, since 2021, there is the label Cape Ingenious which aims to highlight the projects deployed by engineering schools to raise awareness among young people, especially women, about scientific and technological professions.
The Ingenious operation is aimed at:
Ø Engineering schools accredited by the CTI (Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur).
Ø To engineering students from France and the Maghreb.
Ø To working female engineers.
Dates to remember :
- March 08, 2023: Closing of applications.
- March-April 2023: Jury meeting.
- May 11, 2023: Prize-giving ceremony, face-to-face in Paris.
Several prizes will be awarded during this ceremony.. The location will be communicated later.
Projects:
The jury will select the most innovative projects, which promote the inclusion of girls in scientific and engineering professions.
Four prizes are intended for engineering schools,
- the most original project,
- the most committed school,
- the special jury prize and
- the price cap ingenious.
Portraits :
After receiving the portraits, the jury will identify the portraits of women engineers to award the prizes of :
- female engineer,
- the female junior engineer,
- the engineering student France,
- Maghreb engineering student
New for 2023: There will be a high school student prize which will be awarded this year by a panel of high school students from the Paris region formed into a jury!
