On Monday, August 26, the Japan Financial and Economic Education Promotion Organization (J-FLEC) began accepting applications for instructor dispatches (off-site lessons) and for certification as a J-FLEC certified advisor. On the same day, J-FLEC also held a “J-FLEC Kick-off Press Conference.” We would like to announce the details of these events as follows.

1. J-FLEC begins accepting applications for instructor dispatch (off-site lessons)

J-FLEC dispatches instructors to companies, schools, community centers, etc. nationwide to provide free on-site lessons on various themes related to financial and economic education. If you would like J-FLEC to dispatch an instructor, please read the notes on the “Instructor Dispatch (On-site Lessons)” page on the J-FLEC website and apply using the application form on the same page.

2. J-FLEC begins accepting applications for certification as a J-FLEC certified advisor

J-FLEC is recruiting personnel (“J-FLEC Certified Advisors”) who will provide financial and economic advice to clients and course participants from a neutral standpoint that is not biased toward any particular financial institution or financial product. If you wish to be certified as a “J-FLEC Certified Advisor,” please read the recruitment requirements on the “How to become a J-FLEC Certified Advisor” page on the J-FLEC website, and then apply to J-FLEC using the application form on the same page.

3. Holding of “J-FLEC Kick-off Press Conference”

The event welcomed a celebrity as a special guest and featured a money-related advice talk based on the free trial of “J-FLEC’s First Money Plan,” one of J-FLEC’s businesses, as well as the announcement of a TV commercial to raise awareness and promote J-FLEC.

The FSA will work closely with J-FLEC to provide more “learning opportunities” for the public to improve their financial literacy.
