Tim Cook gave a short interview for the program Good Morning Americawhere he discussed the $3499 Vision Pro helmet.
Asked by the host if the average person might afford the Vision Pro, the Apple CEO replied:
I don’t know. I think people will make different choices depending on their financial situation and so on. Engineering developments and the depth of engineering solutions in it are simply amazing. You get more than 4K in every eye. Of course, it’s not free. It costs some money, but I think it’s worth it.

Cook also added that this product marks a turning point for Apple.
We started working on augmented reality a long time ago because we saw it as a big idea, a deep technology. This is the next chapter in this direction, and it’s a huge leap.
