Apple’s 27″ Mini-LED Display Won’t Arrive This Quarter, Says Ross Young

the rumored monitor 27 inch mini LED from Apple was expected to hit the market in the first quarter of 2023, but according to the accurate analyst Ross Youngfrom Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), this will no longer happen.

Young told the MacRumors that there was no sign that the mass production of this product would have started — which would certainly already be happening if the display were launched this quarter.

Rumors that have been circulating for some time suggest that Apple would launch this 27″ Mini-LED display that will arrive with support for the technology ProMotionwith a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Instead of replacing Apple’s current models, it would be positioned on the line between Studio Display and Pro Display XDR — while the first is sold for US$1,600 (R$16,000 here), the second goes for US$5,000 (in Brazil). , for BRL 43,295).

This isn’t the first time this has happened. Young himself has already hinted that the monitor would arrive in June 2022, then that date moved to October and finally to the first quarter of 2023.

Initially, the analyst had suggested that the delays would be due to problems with the supply chain caused by the pandemic of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19). However, it is not known whether this remains the reason – for now, he has not given any guesses on what the new scheduled date would be. for this release
