MADRID, 6 Jun. (Portaltic/EP) –

Apple It will ship some six to seven million units of the new MacBook Air devices to its official retailers in the second half of 2022, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has estimated, including a new color option.

Kuo has advanced through your twitter profile what the company’s next steps will be in relation to its plans to ship laptops and has indicated that these forecasts will be fulfilled as long as the capacity of component manufacturer Quanta “may return to the pre-shutdown level before the third quarter of 2022.”

For the time being, Apple reportedly planned to ship between 6 and 7 million MacBook Air units in the second half, a shipment that, according to Kuo, “should be better” than that of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro family because in the Pro Quanta it was listed as the only supplier, while in the Air series Quanta and Foxconn do it.

The analyst has taken the opportunity to support what the specialized journalist from Bloomberg already advanced a few days ago Mark Gurmanwhich indicated that the new series of MacBook Air will include a new color.

Currently, this range has three standard colors, space gray, silver and gold, to which an additional color would be added soon, which would be dark blue, available in the latest iMac series.

Gurman also pointed out then that Apple’s new laptop would not come “in a range of various colors“, as certain rumors pointed out and that the gold will have a new hue, since “It will be more like champagne.”

For his part, Kuo has indicated that there will be an additional color in this series, without specifying what it will be, and has pointed out that the company don’t plan to take “iMac rainbow style”, made up of colors such as green, orange, red, yellow or violet, to their laptops.
