To mark Halloween, Apple will hold a keynote on Tuesday, October 31. Called “Scary Fast,” it will focus on Macs.
We didn’t see that coming. For the first time ever, Apple revealed a keynote in mid-October, scheduled to take place next week, either October 30, or the day before Halloween. Entitled “Scary Fast” (Quick to scare, in French) the content of the event can leave you speechless.
Obviously, the chances that Apple will present a special product in Halloween colors are almost zero, but we already know what range of devices will be renewed. On the event page, the Apple transforms into Finder, the Mac explorer.
A year and a half after the launch of the Apple Silicon M2 chips, it would not be surprising if Apple presents the successor to the SoC for Mac, the M3 chip, next Tuesday. Also expected is a new iMac as well as new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros.
The event will obviously be followed live on Apple’s page and its YouTube channel. However, it will be broadcast at… 1 a.m., i.e. October 31. When we tell you that it’s a first, it really is a first.
