The announcement, it is worth noting, takes place on the day that Apple held its first special event of the year, in which new iPads Pro and Air were launched, as well as accessories such as the Apple Pencil Pro and a renewed Magic Keyboard.

According to newspaper information The Southa report released today (May 7) by the Civil Defense of Rio Grande do Sul shows that the floods in the state have already caused 95 deaths, 372 injuries and 131 missing people.

Furthermore, the number of displaced or homeless people exceeds 200 thousand — with around 1.44 million of the 11.3 million inhabitants (12.7%) of RS being directly or indirectly affected by the tragedy.
