The new Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 were announced yesterday (12) at the Wonderlust event and today the luxury accessories brand Hermès is launching new straps to complement the style of the watch, some of them exclusive to the official website with a leather finish.
The new bracelets are available in a wide variety of materials and finishes. The simplest ones are made of silicone with braided versions in different colors to create a unique sporty look. Another option is those made of braided nylon with a soft texture mixing different shades of color.
However, what draws the most attention is the fact that Hermès leather bracelets are no longer sold on Apple’s official website, which removed them all from its catalog in support of its new campaign for the use of renewable and recycled materials. Furthermore, Apple confirmed that it will no longer launch leather accessories in its official store.
Despite this, Hermès continues to maintain its partnership to sell Apple Watch combos with leather straps in various colors and styles as we can see in the images.
The bracelets are available in both 41 mm and 45 mm versions. Their unit price ranges from US$349 to US$589, while combos with the Apple Watch Series 9 cost between US$1,249 and US$1,539.
