The expansion of Apple Vision Pro for new markets continues to go from strength to strength. Today, the Cupertino giant announced that its mixed reality headset will be released in Taiwan on the day December 17th — in exactly two weeks.
Those interested in purchasing a Vision Pro there can now even access the device purchase page which, although it still doesn’t accept orders, allows you to configure it the way you want (which includes ZEISS optical inserts), giving you an idea of exactly how much money this game will cost.
With this announcement, Taiwan becomes the 13th country to receive Apple’s newest product category. First launched only in the United States, the headset has now reached Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and South Korea.
Or Vision Pro will start from NT$120.000 (around R$22,500) in Taiwan and, as usual, can be configured with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage. ZEISS optical inserts, in turn, will cost NT$5.000 (~R$930).
Also according to Apple, pre-sales of the device in Taiwan will begin this Thursday (5/12), at 9 am local time. For us Brazilians, we can only dream of the day when this headset will land here.

What is Apple doing to generate excitement for the Vision Pro launch in Taiwan?
## Apple Vision Pro Expands to New Markets – A Quick Interview
**Host:** Hello again and welcome back to the show. We’re following the exciting rollout of Apple’s Vision Pro headset, and today, it seems Apple is spreading its reach even further. Joining us to discuss this latest development is [ Alex Reed Name and Title]. Thanks for being here!
**Alex Reed:** Thanks for having me!
**Host:** Let’s dive right in. Apple announced its mixed reality headset will be launching in Taiwan on December 17th, marking the 13th country to receive it. This expansion follows initial launches in the US and then a wave of other countries earlier this year. What are your thoughts on this continued global rollout?
**Alex Reed:** I think it’s very positive! It shows Apple’s confidence in the product and its commitment to making it accessible to a wider audience. The initial response seems to have been favourable, so expanding to new markets like Taiwan is a logical next step.
**Host:** It’s definitely gaining momentum. Interestingly, Apple itself has opened a page for Taiwanese customers to configure the Vision Pro even though orders aren’t open yet. What do you think the significance of that step is?
**Alex Reed:** That’s a clever tactic. It allows potential buyers to get familiar with the product’s customization options and pricing specific to Taiwan, effectively building anticipation and excitement for the official launch.
**Host:** Absolutely. Any predictions on how successful the Vision Pro will be in the Taiwanese market?
**Alex Reed:** It’s hard to say for sure. Taiwan is a tech-savvy country with a strong interest in innovative products. If Apple can effectively communicate the benefits of the Vision Pro and its applications, there’s certainly potential for strong adoption.
**Host:** We’ll definitely be watching that closely. Thanks for your insights, [ Alex Reed Name]!
**Alex Reed:** My pleasure!
