A few days ago, we talked here regarding the possibility of Apple have separated something around 60-80 thousand units from Vision Pro for its launch — a relatively small number for a product of this size, which might translate into (relatively) quick sales.
Well, all said and done: although Maçã’s mixed reality (AR/VR) headset has not yet actually reached the market (this will only happen in February 2 nd), today it finally went on pre-sale — and, despite not “selling out” immediately, demand for the device increased throughout the day.
According to the Apple website, delivery times for the Vision Pro, which were 2/2 in the first moments of pre-sale, have now jumped to March — from now on 6-7 weeks. Furthermore, there is no longer any availability to collect the product in stores.
The first model to see a change in availability was the 256GB model, the cheapest of all, but the 512GB and 1TB models didn’t last long either.
In other words, if you’re passing through the United States and were planning to get your hands on Apple’s next big product, you might want to wait until launch day and try your luck at a physical Apple Store, which will likely have devices. ready for delivery (although not for long either).
We, of course, will continue to monitor Vision Pro delivery times. Keep an eye out here! ????
