The quarters follow one another and look alike for Apple TV+ which, in France at least, still does not bring in the crowds. The quarterly sounding carried out by JustWatch shows that Apple’s streaming service is still neck and neck with Salto.
Apple TV+ programs are of interest to 3% of users of JustWatch, a platform that allows you to follow the news of series and films on the main streaming platforms. 3% is also the level recorded by Salto. These two hold each other by the goatee, their parts having not evolved since the second trimester. Apple TV+ has never exceeded this threshold.
The leader for the quarter remains Netflix, which lost 2 points compared to the second quarter at 28%. A decline that does not benefit Prime Video, which with 25% drops by 3 points. Disney+ is stable at 18%, while Canal+ loses 1 point to 8%. OCS retains its 6%.
The progression is in fact significant for the catch-all category of “others”, which increases from 3% to 9%. And given the launches planned in the coming months (Universal+, Paramount+, the future service of Warner Bros), market fragmentation is likely to accelerate.
These figures are obviously not gospel, but since subscription video-on-demand platforms do not provide any statistics, these data make it possible to gauge the interest of users engaged in streaming.
