Apple TV owners can now accept iCloud terms through the website

An outrage erupted last month among users of Apple TV. An alert in the tvOS interface warned regarding the need to have an iPhone or an iPad running iOS/iPadOS 16 to accept the iCloud terms and conditions.

Many, however, have set-top box da Maçã, but they use other brands of cell phones or tablets, which made the process of accepting the terms unfeasible. Reports were that there was no way to get rid of the alert.

Thankfully, Apple has recognized the issue — to a degree — and seems to have fixed it, as it has published an official document to help those who don’t have a device running iOS/iPadOS 16 to accept the iCloud terms.

The company now asks users to use icloud.com. According to the document, those who need to accept the terms should see the instructions to update the account settings. Just follow them to accept.

  1. Go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. If necessary, follow the instructions to review and update your account settings.
  3. Review and agree to the iCloud Terms and Conditions.

Has anyone had this problem been able to resolve it?
