Apple issued a notice to users earlier, announcing that “my photo stream” will be officially shut down on July 26, 2023. After June 26, users will no longer be able to upload new photos to the service, and content uploaded before this date will remain in iCloud for 30 days and be available to all users who have enabled “My Photo Stream” device downloads. Because the images in My Photo Stream are stored on at least one device, you won’t lose any photos during the transition as long as you have the device with the original files on it.
