Foreign media such as Nine to Five Mac reported on the 6th (local time) that Apple plans to release a 27-inch external display equipped with a mini LED display in the first quarter of next year.
The 27-inch Apple display featuring a mini LED display is expected to support ProMotion technology and refresh rates up to 120Hz.
The new Apple Display was originally expected to be released this year, but it is reported that the release was delayed until the first quarter of next year due to overlapping problems such as supply chain.
It’s unclear if the new 27-inch Apple display will launch under the ‘Studio Display’ brand, but it might come at a price higher than the studio display starting at $1599.
Last spring, Nine to Five Mac reported that Apple was developing an external display that supports 7K resolution, but it has not yet been confirmed whether this display will be a 27-inch model that will be released early next year.
