Apple will discontinue some older iPhones following the release of the iPhone 15 series this fall.
Apple is currently selling eight types of iPhones: ▲iPhone 14 Pro Max ▲iPhone 14 Pro ▲iPhone 14 Plus ▲iPhone 14 ▲iPhone 13 ▲iPhone 13 Mini ▲iPhone 12 ▲iPhone SE (2022).
According to the Toms Guide report, following the release of the iPhone 15 series this fall, it is expected that four types of iPhones will be discontinued: ▲iPhone 12 ▲iPhone 13 Mini ▲iPhone 14 Pro ▲iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 mini were released in 2020 and 2021, respectively. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models were released last year, but Apple is increasing sales of the latest models by discontinuing them instead of lowering the factory price in the case of high-end models. However, it is still difficult to predict whether the iPhone 14 basic model and the iPhone 14 Plus model will be discontinued.
