If you wanted a screen hitting an apple, you had no choice but the Pro Display XDR. But if you didn’t have a budget of €5,499 to afford a 6K panel backlit by miniLED, you had no choice but… to look elsewhere. Until today: with the Studio Display, Apple offers a “simple” 5K panel and some unique functions for €1,749. A relatively reasonable price, or still too expensive? A three-legged beast
The design of the Pro Display XDR was an extension of that of the Mac Pro, renewed this year with the “Studio” couple. The Studio Display borrows its profile from the 24″ iMac, but it recovers the design of the ventilation grilles of the Mac Studio for its upper and lower edges.
