Last month, the Cupertino giant expanded the line of options for the Apple Pencil with the arrival of the version with a connector USB-C of the accessory.
Now, Maçã tried to announce interested parties can now order it in 33 countries and regions, which includes Brazil e Portugal. Availability in physical stores is scheduled for next week.
With a USB-C port (used for recharging and pairing), the pencil has most of the features of the other two versions. Among them, low latency, tilt sensitivity and even the Apple Pencil on the screen (Apple Pencil Hover) on newer iPad Pros.
Among its major shortcomings, however, we have the lack of pressure sensitivity, double-tap support for tool changing and wireless charging and pairing (although it is possible to keep it attached magnetically to the side of the iPads).
The possibility of adding a personalized recording, available on the second generation of Pencil (and still non-existent in Brazil), was also left out.
As for their compatibility, the list is quite extensive: iPad (10th generation), iPad Air (4th and 5th generations), 11″ iPad Pro (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations) and 12.9″ (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generations), as well as iPad mini (6th generation).
As you can see, it solves the main Achilles heel of 10th generation iPad owners, who needed to use an adapter to make use of the first generation Apple Pencil.
The product costs much less than the other two members of the Pencil family: US$80 us United States, R$900 No brazil e 95€ in Portugal. Here, the delivery time is 5-7 working days and those who choose to pay in cash, of course, still get a 10% discount.
Even with the arrival of the new member in the family, it is worth noting that the 1st and 2nd generation Apple Pencils remain available for R$1.135 e R$1.515 not Brazil, respectively.
