Vision Pro developer kits are available now: “Please note that this is an Apple-owned development device. The kit must remain at the shipping address in a private, secure workspace accessible only by you and your authorized developers. You will have regular checks with Apple and will need to return the kit when requested by Apple.”
Apple, in turn, is committed to supporting developers throughout the creation process, including help with device configuration, expert guidance on app interface design and development, and technical support to solve problems.
To ensure development confidentiality and security, the company requires developers to use Apple Vision Pro in a private, secure workspace, restricting access to authorized team members only.
In addition, the Cupertino giant also said that it will follow up with developers regularly in order to help them improve their applications, providing ongoing support throughout the development process.

Developers, Designers and Creators: Working on something for the Apple Vision Pro? Sign up for one of our labs! We can’t wait to see what you have in store for visionOS.
Need more hardware time for your brilliant idea? Order a developer kit.
The developer kit represents a significant step forward for the launch of the Apple Vision Pro. It is worth remembering that, last month, Apple released the visionOS software development kit (SDK), allowing developers to start creating and testing applications.
With the loan of devices to a certain number of developers, Apple provides more opportunities to promote a solid ecosystem of applications compatible with the Vision Pro when it arrives on the market, something that should not happen until the first half of 2024.
