Apple releases update for the firmware of the 1st generation AirPods Pro

2024-01-23 19:40:46

Apple today released a new firmware update for First generation AirPods Pro. The new version is 6A321; the old one was 6A300.

This version, it must be said, is the same one released for Third generation AirPods last week. As revealed by Apple at the time, the update only brings “bug fixes and other improvements”, as detailed on this support page.

As we know, there is no direct way to manually update the firmware of Apple headphones, so just use them normally and the update will be done automatically the moment they are connected to the iPhone or iPad.

To check the version installed on your headphones, you need to connect them to your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings and tap the AirPods area that is highlighted at the beginning of the screen, below your Apple ID information — or go to Settings » General » About » AirPods.
