A Apple recently released a new Fast Protection (Rapid Security Responseor RSR) for the iOS 16.5.1o iPadOS 16.5.1 and the macOS Ventura 13.4.1which were released last month to everyone.
The RSRs are nothing more than updates for the company’s operating systems exclusively focused on correcting security holes in a faster and simpler way than through traditional (and larger) software updates.
More precisely, the Quick Shields released today fix a bug (identified as CVE-2023-37450) that caused rendering web content to lead to arbitrary code execution, as these pages of security. Apple said it is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.
Once these Quick Protections are applied, a letter is added following the current version of the operating system — that is, whoever installs today’s on the iPhone will run the iOS 16.5.1 (a)for example.

Apple too released today the version 16.5.2 of Safari, which fixes the same flaw (CVE-2023-37450) that opened a loophole for arbitrary code execution when rendering web content.
According to Apple, the update is available on macOS Big Sur 11 and macOS Monterey 12. In addition, the company also said that the flaw in WebKit may have been exploited.
