After launching, on Monday, the first Quick Guards (Rapid Security Responseor RSR) for the iOS 16.5.1o iPadOS 16.5.1 and the macOS Ventura 13.4.1 — which resulted in an issue which prevented some websites from displaying correctly — the Apple now available new versions with the correction of this bug.
More precisely, the Quick Protections from the beginning of the week were identified with the suffix “a”, while today’s have the suffix “c” — yes, Apple decided to skip a (b).
The RSRs are nothing more than updates for the company’s operating systems exclusively focused on correcting security holes in a faster and simpler way than through traditional (and larger) software updates.
In addition to being able to be released more quickly, these updates are also lighter to download and install, and can be removed in case of problems like this week’s.
Let’s see if now everything will go as planned!
