Apple recommends updating to iOS 16.0.1 after a bug in iOS 16 prevents iPhone 14 from connecting to Wi-Fi when activating.

Apple has confirmed that iOS 16 has a bug that can cause Wi-Fi connectivity issues when activating a new iPhone 14, adding that the issue is currently being investigated.

In the Apple memo, a known issue has been identified for iOS 16 that might affect Wi-Fi connections when activating a new device. Device to Mac or PC with iTunes pre-installed, then go back to the previous screen and connect to Wi-Fi once more.
