Magsafe, new chip: Apple presents its brand new Macbook Air
The new Macbook Air has just been presented during this 2022 edition of WWDC.
It will be equipped with the M2 chip announced just before by the company. Four colors will be available.
The device is advertised as “thinner, lighter and faster”.
Another weight announcement: it will also be equipped with the Magsafe charger, and the fast charging function.

Sport, Siri, notifications: the new features of the Apple Watch
Apple’s connected watch has some interesting new features.
New watch faces will be available, as well as a new interface for Siri. An option will also make notifications on the watch face more discreet.
The Apple Watch is still of interest for athletes, with an improved interface dedicated to running. The usual routes will, for example, be recorded, in order to be able to compare one’s own performance. A “multisport” system is also integrated, for triathletes for example.
Apple’s sports app Fitness will now be available on iPhone even without an Apple Watch.

Apple introduces Safety Check, to protect victims of abuse
To protect victims of harassment or abuse, Apple introduced Safety Check, a system to better protect personal information.
In particular, it allows you to restrict access to your messages, decide who has access to them or even lock all devices at the same time.

iOS 16: the new version of Maps extends to France
The new features of Apple’s mapping service are made available in a series of countries, including France.
In particular, it includes functions dedicated to cyclists, such as routes. Panoramic photos will also be available, in order to see a place at 360 degrees.

Apple Pay: deferred payment now available
Apple has just introduced a new function for its integrated payment system. Apple Pay will allow you to pay for any purchase in four instalments, with partner merchants.
The company is also introducing Apple Pay Order, a system for tracking deliveries in real time.
This feature is currently available in the United States.

Editing, voice dictation: new for iMessage
iPhone iMessages are entitled to several big new features. It is now possible to modify a message, and even to cancel a sending.
Conversations can also be marked as “unread”. An option that allows you not to forget to answer it later.
Voice dictation will also be available simultaneously with keyboard writing.

Customizable background, widgets: the lock screen transformed with iOS
First novelty announced by Apple: a total redesign of the iPhone lock screen. With this new iOS 16 update, the lock screen will be much more customizable.
A selection of widgets, such as the calendar or the weather, is also integrated. These will be directly available without unlocking the iPhone.
In terms of design, color filters, new selection of wallpapers and hour font will now be interchangeable.
Notifications are also modified. Apple launches “live activities”, which allows you to focus on a selection of applications. Concentration mode is improved, with an update dedicated for example to work.
