Apple Pad Air 2022: Users complain about the thin back

Apple presented the new iPad Air on March 8th and is now also installing an M1 chip that can be used for almost all tasks. With the upgrade, the border to the iPad Pro blurs a little more. But it looks like the new Air is struggling with quality problems in the case, or rather the company from Cupertino seems to be saving on material there – that’s what users suspect.

Several Users on Reddit report regarding itthat the back is very thin and you can sort of “feel” the internal components through the surface. Furthermore, the tablet sometimes makes creaking noises, the behavior was also checked in the video captured. If you have purchased a new iPad Air, we would appreciate your opinion in the comments. Otherwise, the iFixit teardown at the latest will show what exactly is going on.
